I am leading a team of 50 people that have the responsibility of defining the technology vision and roadmap of the Corporation. In addition to that, I am also in charge of the QA team, made up by 11 QA Analysts and an outsourced Testing Factory of more than 40 Testers.

Being the CTO at a Financial Services Corporation implies, among others, the following responsibilities:
– Align the IT vision with the overall business strategy of the organization.
– Lead strategic planning to achieve business goals by identifying and prioritizing
development initiatives that are based on the adoption of current and new technologies.
– Lead the Technology Leadership Committee establishing governance processes of
direction and control to ensure that objectives are achieved, risks are managed appropriately and the organization’s resources are used responsibly, particularly in the areas of applications architecture, infrastructure architecture, information architecture and security.
- Work with strategic business units to define the technological architecture that support each organizational need.
– Communicate the company’s technology strategy to senior management, partners and vendors.
– Lead the direction and execution of the annual IT Plan.
