Felipe is Director of Entrepreneurship Ecosystems at CORFO, the Chilean public agency dedicated to promoting entrepreneurship, innovation and growth in Chile. At CORFO, Felipe is in charge of the design and implementation of policies oriented to stimulate and build entrepreneurship ecosystems in main cities of Chile, such as the implementation of co-working spaces, angels networks, incubators and accelerators, entrepreneurship education, entrepreneurship culture diffusion, among others). Prior to CORFO, Felipe was the Executive Director of the Interdisciplinary Innovation Institute, a.k.a. iCubo, a leading institution within Universidad del Desarrollo, devoted to the development of entrepreneurship and innovation capabilities in students, professionals and companies. Felipe’s career is being oriented to strengthen innovation capabilities at the country and organizational level.

Felipe has a BA in Sociology from the Catholic University of Chile and holds an MSc in Technology and Innovation Management, from SPRU, the leading centre of research on science, technology and innovation policy (University of Sussex – UK). He has extensive training on business (Diploma in Business Administration from the UAH in Chile) and different methodologies for strengthening innovation, entrepreneurship and creative capabilities (managing innovation ™at the Centre for Innovation Management at the University of Brighton, UK, Lego ® Serious Play ™ with Juego Serio-Argentina, Design thinking with the d.School at the University of Stanford). He has been at the creation of different start ups related to redesigning education and workplace transformation.
