As a bi-cultural executive and entrepreneur, I have gained extensive experience launching and leading large and mid-sized organizations in Latin America, particularly in Chile. I have also worked with companies in the United States that wanted to expand their international operations in Latin America.

My experience has given me a great appreciation for both the challenges and the opportunities of launching, building, turning around and expanding businesses in Latin America. Throughout my career in this region, I have established a record of increasing sales, opening new markets and building profitable, long-term customer relationships.

In addition to implementing initiatives that increased sales, I have achieved strategic, non-organic growth by executing leveraged buyouts and acquisitions within Latin America. I found this activity both exciting and rewarding—in spite of, or perhaps because of, the many challenges that needed to be overcome.

Over the years I have earned a reputation as a leader who gains trust and inspires teams to pursue ambitious goals by communicating a sound vision. I have reinforced that vision with a pragmatic outlook that acknowledges obstacles without being discouraged by them. I am also viewed as a trusted advisor by boards of directors and have served on multiple boards. Currently I am a board member at Nextel Chile S.A., Zwipit Chile SpA and PTT Mobile SpA.
